Its been some time since these pages were graced by Myles and its time for our regular check in. Since then, he’s graced the pages of The San Francisco Bay Guardian, VICE and now soon BUTT. Myles sez:

TransAM was super fun! Lots of people came out in the crappy weather, the beard party was in full swing, and there were even some cute guys. The downstairs DJ, DJ Jef Leopard, played some seriously choice records — that is, if you like that British DIY kind of thing, trashy seventies rock, tropicalia, and ‘good’ punk like the Dead Boys, and Iggy.

I mean music video, but its easy to see how I could get it confused. I mean, what with all the hot tubs, steam, parents, and skin shots. These guys are totally following the Britney arc. The innocent phase is over and the slutty one has begun! Quick, somebody get them some undies before the paps catch on.
Um, yeah. Anyway, this video is choice. At first I was sad that they weren’t singing over a boombox, but then I realized getting electrocuted in your parent’s hot tub, while great publicity, might ruin the video. And possibly the new year too. Check:
A big thanks to Jeremy Smears and Myles Cooper for keeping up with the posts on this blog. I’m psyched to have colleagues with such damaged reputations and have enjoyed all of the posts. Another big thanks to everyone who left comments, we’d like to see and hear more from some of you ( um, Avery?!) Stayed tuned for contributions from other folks including our own L.A. correspondent Actually Huizenga who’s approached us and asked to contribute, we’ve sent her the info on how to log in and write but so far we’ve just been holding our breath!
Me personally, I’d like to apologise to all of my fans, lately I’ve had to devote energy finding a new and healthier job so I haven’t been posting nearly as much as i’ve liked.
The old job was stressing me out big time, one of my last projects was wrapping 12 AC Transit buses for Chevron. Chevron has sponsored 12 Green AC Transit Buses and wanted to label them Test Vehicle, much to my amusement the buses are now out and about and when the doors open, the bus goes from being a “Test Vehicle” to comething completely different. Oops! It’s probably a really good thing I found a new job.

Also, if you ever see that woman in the glasses at a show… she does not like it when you take pictures. Taking this picture of Myles really put her over the edge. She came up to me all snotty and asked me if I was having fun taking all those pictures and then stormed out of the show in a huff. Oops!
